What is the formula that the game uses when it Calculates the Level for a Parabolic Pokemon. I know the other way, from level to Experience, but I need the first one. I think the game would use it instead of the other one.

For reference, the Parabolic Exp Formula is
1.2(L^3) - 15(L^2) + 100L - 140

where L is the Level of the Pokemon.

Hey, um... I don't really know your answer, but I'd like to say thanks for linking to Metalloid Research on your site.

I wish more sites do it in the future ^_^.

So, um... mleo, you like Metalloid Research?

Fast 0.8(L^3)
Medium L^3
Slow 1.25(L^3)
Parabolic 1.2(L^3) - 15(L^2) + 100L - 140

Uh, MK, I know about those formula's, I even posted the last one myself. What I am asking for is different than that. Say The Medium Rate is L^3. The Formula I'm talking about would be

Cube Root(E)

where E is the Experience of a Medium Pokemon.

I also know the other formula's for the Fast and Slow rates (after Cube Rooting it, just divide by it's number), but I need the formula for Parabolic.

Isn't L^3 L to the third power? It might explain why Medium Growth Pokemon require 1,000,000 exp to reach L100 (100 x 100 x 100 = 1,000,00).

mleo2003: I think the game would use it instead of the other one.

i'm not so sure. it keeps track of how much exp you need to reach the next level, which means it's using the formulae you listed to determine how much exp is necessary to reach the next level. also ever notice the wait when you take a pokémon out of the box and the game recalculates all its stats? ever notice that the higher the level of the pokémon, the longer the wait? if all it were doing were determining the level given the experience, rather than stepping up the level by 1 and running the formulae you posted until it finds the experience requirement at or below the current experience, i think it would go much faster. since it's dog slow, i've a hunch that's what it's doing.
