I'm still doing the training missions. I find them to be quite enjoyable. The multiplayer with actual humans is a drag cuz you have to wait so long in between turns.

I bought it since it was the only war game since Ogre Battle. I love this game. Bu seriosly, if you want a beyond awsome war game, stick with Ogre Battle.

They are different games. Apples and Oranges, chief. I'll have to say they are the best that the GBA has to offer right now. That's for damn sure. I've got both of them and I play them about equal time.

Let me put it this way: I've been playing Mario Kart for several years, and I don't get much stratagey, so I'm getting Advance Wars. Also, I played Mario Kart in a store, and I was pleased because I barely won by using a mushroom at the end. I was saying, "Finally, a challenging Mario Kart." Then I realized it was on 150cc.

I have both games too, but I haven't played Mario Kart much since I got Advance Wars, although, even though I got the game last weekend, I'm still on the third mission. (translation: I suck) Multiplayer is fun, even though I can only battle my brother. Best gaming buy I made ('cept maybe 64).

Just restarted today...

Sitting in the laundromatte waiting for my pants, playing through the first two missions. When suddenly two large men... probably two years older then me walk in and decided to dry their clothes.

Lets just say that some mans underwear spinning through a dryer is enough to make anyone change seats. I did win the mission fortunatly.

Bleh. Buying Nell is only a rumor as far as I know. Humans are not 1337 enough to beat Advance Campaign, much less earn an S Rank on all the battles without cheating.

On a side note, can anyone beat/match my score of 999 on the Pivot Isle map for War Room?

You can't beat 999. I haven't bothered with Pivot Isle yet. And there's someone with a 999 campaign score and Rank 1 and the screenshots to prove it, so nyah. >

I'll bet the 999 on Campaign is on regular campaign.

Also, you can also raise your rank by doing the same War Room missions over and over again.

I have a 962 campaign score. Yay.

And Sturm isn't That great... sure, he gets 1 movement cost per all terrain and Meteor Strike, but if your opponent is intelligent he'll rarely put more than two or three units within striking range of one meteor anyway. And at that rate Tsunami is better... more distributed damage that can't be fixed by just switching out troops. Not to mention Sturm has weaker units.

Mine works fine, if you look around you'll find stuff to fix the saves and then its better than the normal cart. As for the batteries you're an idiot! It says use a power supply!

I did use a power supply at first, but then that stupid thing started making all kinds of funny noises, and I couldn't upload ROM's with it. So I bought some batteries, and it works fine (not at full speed though). Multi-booting doesn't work either. Must be a defective cartridge or something I thought...

Do you fight Eagle in that one...IIRC, I had a harder time with it than with the last two against Sturm. I had to wait an absurdly long time for some of the planes to gas out, and then cheated with save + reset in order to find out where all the remaining units where hiding. Pain in the ass, and I didn't even do it legitimately...oh well. I suck.
