Can you use a "Universal Link Cable" to link an old GBA and the SP?

Or am I on the hook for more cash to NOC because they are amazingly cheap and disturbing?

If the cable you're talking about is the black Nintendo GBC-to-GB/GBC one, then it only works for GB/GBC games. If it worked before, it'll work now.

The SP is to the GBA as the Game Boy Pocket is to the original Game Boy, mostly.

Both featured an improved screen, remodelled but identical insides and improved power management compared to their predecessor.

On another note, I walked around frys the other day and saw a 3rd party headphone adaptor for $10 that came with (probably really shitty) headphones. What a fucking ripoff.
