I traded my pikachu from yellow version to silver and a 'lightball' was attached. It doesn't explain what it is. I think it does something strange when breeding because after the egg was made and I took them back out, the pikachu had three moves it didn't before.
It had lightscreen and tail whip and thunderwave. Didn't have them before, had something like slam, thunder, thunderbolt etc...

A Lightball straight doubles Pikachu's Special Attack, dunno if it works for Pichu or Raichu. However, that thing about messing up its moves when you breed with it? That's new to me.

Lightball only works on Pikachu.

The new moves were the ones it learned by leveling up while in the breeding centre. This is just like it was with the daycare centre in Chromatics.

It didn't level up though, it wasn't in long enough and was already past L50 and had it's moves...
