Hey, I'm new to this forum (not to Pokemon though) and I've been reading up on your conversations. I have a question, what do the initials "STAB" stand for? I keep seeing it on the posts and it's driving me crazy!!!!! Anyways, I'll be posting my R/B/Y team shortly (I don't have G/S yet) Thanx for the info.

I'm new here too but I can still help you. STAB = Same Type Advantage Bonus.
For example, an Arcanine using Flamethrower would do more damage than Starmie (?) using Flamethrower because Flamethrower is a fire type move.
