Ok, given that:
- Only Miltank and Selebi learn Heal Bell naturally.
- Blissey can only learn Heal Bell through breeding.
- Miltank is always female.
- Selebi can only be obtained through sharking for the time being.
- I am not going to shark for the time being.
- The egg produced from breeding is always the same species as the mother.

Wouldn't this mean that Blissey can only learn Heal Bell by breeding with a Selebi? Or did I miss something here?

Snubbull can learn Heal Bell through breeding as well.

I assume it can mate with Chansey.

Then again, how does Snubbull get Heal Bell? @_@

I came to the same conclusion as you, TeeJay after reviewing White Cat's pokedex and Meowth's breeding info. If I understand the information, even if you breed Snubbull with Mitank, the offspring will learn its attacks from the male (Snubbull).

Therefore, it looks like the only way Snubbull and Chansey can get Heal Bell is to breed a male Celebi (who knows Heal Bell) with a female Snubbull or Chansey.

Is that the case, or am I missing something? I'd really like to have a Chansey with Heal Bell, and I was hoping I wouldn't have to shark a Celebi to get it.

how does scetch breed does it breed the scetched move or scetch. If it breeds the move then thats how. Not to sure on who can learn that.

There is also the problem that Celebi is genderless and can't breed...

Sketch is learned only by Smeargle, and can't be bred to anything else. Since Sketch permanently copies a move, it is the new move that would be bred to the baby.

Oh, yeah, Sketch! Hmmm.. can Smeargle breed with Snubbull and Chansey OK? Is there anyway to find a Miltank using Heal Bell in the wild? (thinks it may be possible with the Mystery Gift feature and that weird house in Veridian)

-Catch a male Smeargle.
-Sketch Heal Bell
-Breed male Smeargle with female Chansey/Blissey

Hmph. Thats a lotta work.

Question: What happens if you use Sketch in a link battle?

I think I remember someone said it wouldn't work. But, there may still be a way to skectch off another team... the Mystery Gift and the house in Veridian.

There's a house in Veridian where you can fight a trainer once a day who uses Typhlosion, Meganium, and Feraligatr. But, if you use Mystery Gift, you'll fight the team of the last person you used Mystery Gift with last that day.
