It seems like no one is ever on PBS. Does it not work, or am I just the only person using it? Also, I am unable to log in to the chat room to coordinate with other trainers. I'm sure I'm entering my information correctly. Do they just not like me? They don't even know me.

I'm going to reply to this seriously, even though it's probably just trolling, but people rarely play the old generations. Even when they do, the PBS is hardly the choice of medium through which to play any more and anyone that is playing is probably communicating with someone else to play there in advance. Nobody just hangs out on the PBS looking for random battles these days.
hey cool I have a post on azure that ISN'T five years old ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)

PBS is nowhere special, but if you are looking to battle on there, I'd advise you to battle within the rules of a match, and not just out of the blue.

The rules of a match? What does that mean? I'm not using Sporelectrode or anything like that. Why is PBS not the medium of choice? Does it have battle mechanics glitches?

Don't cheat in a match, dude. I mean what I say to not consider ever cheating. As a former sharker on my Gold/Silver/Crystal games and a big one at that, I can assure you that cheating will do you no good. You'll likely get beat to holy hell/high water in a competitive match, on PBS and elsewhere.

Are people still using PBS? It never worked properly, although I guess people could be using it if all the other options have been abandoned.

I used it a few weeks ago to fight one RBY match with someone, since I already deleted NetBattle from my computer and I'm not redownloading it. It worked perfectly fine. [ 12-06-2009, 12:46 AM: Message edited by: Mr.E ]

Well, there's that laundry list of attacks that don't work...I guess people just learned to work around those.

I've never used PBS and don't intend to, and from the looks of it, people shouldn't either if it is causing problems. Maybe it's just me, but I think I would rather use a link cable and battle with my own pokemon than use some online battling thing-a-ma-jig.
