OK so the laboratory data tells me that Jigglypuff evolves with a Moon Stone. And I have always generally believed that as well. So I'm aiming to get all 151 Pokémon (for the very first time!) by going through the Pokédex entries one by one. So I have this policy of picking the moves that I want the Pokémon to learn before I evolve it. Jigglypuff's last move is learned at L39 so I figure I'll just get her to learn them all!

So there I am, piggybacking her on the Elite Four when Jigglypuff finally reaches L34 and learns Body Slam. So I keep fighting and win the battle. Almost ready to move on to the next elite when, all of a sudden:

"What? Jigglypuff is evolving!"

WTF? Jigglypuff evolving without a Moon Stone at L34?

So can someone research into this, try to duplicate it and record Wigglytuff's level of learning Double-Edge?

It sounds like a glitch to me. You probably have a glitch that has forced your Wigglytuff to evolve when it's not supposed to. I think the glitch maybe something that no one here has looked into, but maybe someone else can shed some more light on this.
