During a small bit of free time, I attempted to try sketching a move (Nightmare) on from Ditto with Smeargle. Unfortunately, everytime I do, it fails. I have a sneaky suspicion that I'm going to have to get a new Smeargle with Nightmare before having a snowball's chance in hell of getting Nightmare on from Ditto, because it seems like if the move failed, you can't sketch it. (And since Nightmare only works once/sleep time...) Or am I just missing something?

I've got a question about Sketch, too. I captured a Smeargle that had Mean Look (cause I used that aginst it to capture it). It learned Sketch at level 21, just as the 'dex said it should. I gave it Exp Share to raise it to level 31 and get a second Sketch but, HEY, it's now at level 33 and no new Sketch.
So, do you have to use Sketch to learn an opponent's move before you can learn another Sketch? If so, if you've passed the level where it learns Sketch again (as in my case, above), do you have to wait until the next increment of 10 (e.g. 41 for me) before it will learn another Sketch?

OK, interestingly enough, I Nightmared a wild Smeargle, and it learned it even after it failed the turn before (same circumstance as Ditto). So it is more than possible that Dittoed moved are considered unsketchable. BLEH.
