The world would have been a much better place if we'd never started believing in your magic pixies. If we'd started off using logic (or at least listening to people who had the capability to use logic), we'd be much better off.
In what way is religion beneficial? If it's supposed to keep people in line, it's not working, and I don't believe it ever did. MK's religious and afraid of going to Hell, yet he's a completely awful human being that deserves eternal suffering more than any atheist I know.

today all cristianity does it telling you to be nice, which is a good thing - but just like any other religion (Islam) some - eh wait a LOT - of people get it wrong.

My premise is that if they left out all the stupid stuff about people living in fish bellies and explained in more reasonable terms that being nice to each other is a good idea, it would have been a lot more beneficial for mankind.

He said that's where they are, not that every single fucking person there was one. I'd say calling someone who thinks it's part of their religion to fly an airplane into a building full of people a 'religious shitbag' is at least mildly justified, and I'm told the middle east is where they were from. Therefore, "that's where the religious shitbags are." He never said everyone there was a religious shitbag, he never said nothing happened in the middle east except being a religious shitbag, so just please shut up about it. Only thing more annoying than a racist is someone who enjoys crying about everyone being a racist...
