Get both ok...=/ They are each worth it to shell out an extra $80 or so if you haven't preordered them. I got to pre-order only Pearl this time around, but it was well worth it because the game and the features have not let me down one bit. But if you do get one of them then definitely get Diamond as Dialga looks more badass than Palkia.
