Mr. Toad Outrage

Although callers to a recent Orlando Sentinel poll were ready to
send Mr. Toad packing, the Internet is buzzing with online efforts to save
the Magic Kingdom ride.
A "Save Mr. Toad's Wild Ride!" Web site went up on Oct. 23, the day
after the Sentinel reported that Disney officials are considering
replacing the scary, dark ride with a more kid-friendly adventure based on
the wildly popular Winnie the Pooh.
The site -- at http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Set/7073 --- includes
the history and storyline of the ride, offers a place for the outraged to
post their comments and encourages people to get involved with a list of
top Disney executives and their addresses.
