Dear Mr. Emmer:

Please do not close Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride has always been a favorite of mine and it would be a
shame to remove it from Walt Disney World.  It is a classic that is loved
by children and adults around the world.  In fact, in a recent online
poll, 85% of the respondents said they would miss Mr. Toad's Wild Ride if
it were destroyed. 

I invite you to read for yourself the comments of many Disney customers on
the Electronic Toad Hall web site at
<http://www.math.miami.edu/~jam/toad/toadtalk.html>.  Clearly these people
do not consider the ride to be "outdated" or "too scary". 

If you are concerned with a possible lack of popularity of the Wind in the
Willows characters, please consider marketing them with a fraction of the
aggressiveness with which you have marketed the Pooh characters recently. 
Consider adding Mr. Toad, Moley, Ratty and MacBadger to the cast of
characters that greet customers in the park.  Consider offering your
customers the Mr. Toad merchandise they have been requesting for years.

Removing such a popular and efficient attraction is a poor choice for
both Walt Disney World and the customers who enjoy spending their money
there.
