I can't really answer that particular question, but I'll tell you it must have taken an hour and a half of me walking around to finally get the egg from my Eevee/Quagsire. Who knows how long I'll have to carry this egg to get my baby Eevee now... G/S breeding is sweet, but I don't know if I have the patience for it.

It takes about one hour if your not walking casually. It's about 1000-2000 steps in most cases to get the prevo's of the certain pokemon to hatch from the egg. So have some patience and walk..no wait...ride your bike all over the place. I usually Just ride my bike around the area where you breed the pokemon. Then when they hatch I can breed some more.

I bred 2 gyarados' and got a second egg before the first one hatched. I think gyarados is the easiest pokemon to breed, also magikarps hatch the fastest.

Eggs seem to show up after a couple of time periods:
Arrival: Day (10Am-6Pm) Ditto and Shuckle are friendly: Egg Available: Night (6PM-4AM)
Arrival: Day Ditto and Charizard show interest: Egg Available: Next Day period
Because of this, I always try to breed at the end of time periods.
Am I wrong here?

However, it's size and disposition are vastly different. It's cold, glowing eyes strike fear into it's enemies. It usually remains motionless to conserve energy, so that it may unleash it's full power in battle.
