- Seminars -- Time and Place:
- Usually on Wednesdays 5:00 - 6:00 PM.
Pizza is served at 4.30 on the
third floor of Ungar building.
Occasionally, there will be additional seminars at other times.

- Prof. Kocak: Tuesdays 3.30 - 4.15 and Wednesdays 2.00 - 3.00.
- 12 Seminars per semester. Make sure to sign the attendance sheet at each seminar.
Five 500-word reports are required. To get a writing credit, five 800-word reports are required.
Each report should include
an introduction, providing information about the speaker, the title, abstract, place, date, and time of the seminar.
A body of one or more paragraphs should explain the content of the seminar.
Make certain to include critical remarks and personal observations about what you did and did not like about the
seminar and its presentation.
- Report submission:
Please put a printed copy of your report in my mailbox within one week of the seminar.
You will receive feedback and the opportunity to improve your report for a final submission.
Your grade will be based on seminar reports (50%) and attendance (50%).
