Mathematics Placement Examinations - Spring 2008
The Mathematics Placement Exam for Spring 2008 will be administered to students on a walk-in basis on the following days:

Placement exams will be available for students who have not yet been placed or who disagree with their current placement. Students should be advised to bring with them two No. 2 pencils and some form of identification.

Exam #1 is a 30-question, multiple choice, algebra exam. Calculators will not be allowed. Students will have 50 minutes to complete this exam.

Exam #2 is a 30-question, multiple choice exam. The exam will cover topics in algebra, trigonometry and analytic geometry. Calculators are allowed on this exam. Students will have 50 minutes to complete this exam.

Students who wish to enroll in MTH 101, MTH 103, MTH 105, MTH 107, MTH 108, or MTH 109 must take Exam #1 only.

Students who wish to enroll in MTH 110 or MTH 111 and are currently placed in MTH 105, MTH 107, or MTH 108, must take Exam #2 only.

Students who wish to enroll in MTH 110 or MTH 111 and are currently placed in a course below MTH 105 must take both Exam #1 and Exam #2.

Students in the College of Engineering are required to take both Exam #1 and Exam #2.
